The array of instruments that a plumber has is an indication of whether they are professional or not. The quality of the tools is important as well, but an individual that doesn’t have all tools can’t fix some problems. People like that can only make things a lot worse than they were before their involvement.
Essential tools that our employees use
We supply our workers with all tools they need to perform all types of plumbing repairs. They have the majority of those tools in their vans, but there is no reason to carry all of that to the exact location because we always ask about the nature of the problem. This allows us to determine the possible source of the problem and avoid bringing different types of a tool that serves one purpose and therefore overburdening our people.
For instance, a worker who is dispatched on the call that won’t require cutting doesn’t have to carry several different types of hacksaws. They will bring just one hacksaw if the need for cutting emerges. On the other side, we have calls that will need cutting pipes. In that case, our employee will take a couple of different types of pipe cutters and hacksaws. The same applies to other tools as well.
Some tools that our people use
We already mentioned hacksaws, so we won’t talk about them. We will just mention that our plumbers use regular pipe cutters, telescopic tube cutters, and different sized hacksaws.
Adjustable spanners, slip joint pliers, and other tightening tools are the essential equipment for every plumber. Our people usually carry several of these tools, as each of them can help in other types of work. Mole grips are excellent for holding work pieces as they can lock and pipe wrench can remove pipes and so on.
Other equipment our company uses
A plumber can’t fix everything with regular tools only; they need some mundane tools for clearing drains and sewers. Some of those tools include a tape measure, pressure tester, and a claw hammer and so on. These tools aren’t essential for repairing some major plumbing issues, but they are indispensable when it comes to clearing drains.
